सद्व्यवहार

एक राजा ने एक दिन स्वप्न देखा कि कोई परोपकारी साधु उससे कह रहा है कि बेटा! कल रात को तुझे एक विषैला सर्प काटेगा और उसके काटने से तेरी मृत्यु हो जायेगी। वह सर्प अमुक पेड़ की जड़ में रहता है, पूर्व जन्म की शत्रुता का बदला लेने के लिए वह तुम्हें काटेगा।
प्रातःकाल राजा सोकर उठा और स्वप्न की बात पर विचार करने लगा। धर्मात्माओं को अक्सर सच्चे ही स्वप्न हुआ करते हैं। राजा धर्मात्मा था, इसलिए अपने स्वप्न की सत्यता पर उसे विश्वास था। वह विचार करने लगा कि अब आत्म- रक्षा के लिए क्या उपाय करना चाहिए?सोचते- सोचते राजा इस निर्णय पर पहुँचा कि मधुर व्यवहार से बढ़कर शत्रु को जीतने वाला और कोई हथियार इस पृथ्वी पर नहीं है। उसने सर्प के साथ मधुर व्यवहार करके उसका मन बदल देने का निश्चय किया।
संध्या होते ही राजा ने उस पेड़ की जड़ से लेकर अपनी शय्या तक फूलों का बिछौना बिछवा दिया, सुगन्धित जलों का छिड़काव करवाया, मीठे दूध के कटोरे जगह- जगह रखवा दिये और सेवकों से कह दिया कि रात को जब सर्प निकले तो कोई उसे किसी प्रकार कष्ट पहुँचाने या छेड़- छाड़ करने का प्रयत्न न करे। रात को ठीक बारह बजे सर्प अपनी बाँबी में से फुसकारता हुआ निकला और राजा के महल की तरफ चल दिया। वह जैसे- जैसे आगे बढ़ता गया, अपने लिए की गई स्वागत व्यवस्था को देख- देखकर आनन्दित होता गया। कोमल बिछौने पर लेटता हुआ मनभावनी सुगन्ध का रसास्वादन करता हुआ, स्थान- स्थान पर मीठा दूध पीता हुआ आगे बढ़ता था। क्रोध के स्थान पर सन्तोष और प्रसन्नता के भाव उसमें बढ़ने लगे। जैसे- जैसे वह आगे चलता गया, वैसे ही वैसे उसका क्रोध कम होता गया। राजमहल में जब वह प्रवेश करने लगा तो देखा कि प्रहरी और द्वारपाल सशस्त्र खड़े हैं, परन्तु उसे जरा भी हानि पहुँचाने की चेष्टा नहीं करते। यह असाधारण सौजन्य देखकर सर्प के मन में स्नेह उमड़ आया। सद्व्यवहार, नम्रता, मधुरता के जादू ने उसे मन्त्र- मुग्ध कर लिया था। कहाँ वह राजा को काटने चला था, परन्तु अब उसके लिए अपना कार्य असंभव हो गया। हानि पहुँचाने के लिए आने वाले शत्रु के साथ जिसका ऐसा मधुर व्यवहार है, उस धर्मात्मा राजा को काटूँ तो किस प्रकार काटूँ? यह प्रश्न उससे हल न हो सका। राजा के पलंग तक जाने तक सर्प का निश्चय पूर्ण रूप से बदल गया।
सर्प के आगमन की राजा प्रतीक्षा कर रहा था। नियत समय से कुछ विलम्ब में वह पहुँचा। सर्प ने राजा से कहा- ‘हे राजन्! मैं तुम्हें काटकर अपने पूर्व जन्म का बदला चुकाने आया था, परन्तु तुम्हारे सौजन्य और सद्व्यवहार ने मुझे परास्त कर दिया। अब मैं तुम्हारा शत्रु नहीं मित्र हूँ। मित्रता के उपहार स्वरूप अपनी बहुमूल्य मणि मैं तुम्हें दे रहा हूँ। लो इसे अपने पास रखो।’ इतना कहकर और मणि राजा के सामने रखकर सर्प उलटे पाँव अपने घर वापस चला गया।भलमनसाहत और सद्व्यवहार ऐसे प्रबल अस्त्र हैं, जिनसे बुरे- से स्वभाव के दुष्ट मनुष्यों को भी परास्त होना पड़ता है...!!!"

पाप का फल

एक राजा ब्राह्मणों को लंगर में भोजन करा रहा था।तब पंक्ति के अंत में बैठे एक ब्राह्मण कोभोजन परोसते समय एक चील अपने पंजे में एक मुर्दा सांप लेकर राजा के ऊपर से गुजरी और उस मुर्दा सांप के मुख से कुछ बुँदे जहर की खाने में गिर गयी।किसी को कुछ पता नहीं चला।फलस्वरुप वह  ब्राह्मण जहरीला खाना खाते ही मर गया।अब जब राजा को सच का पता चला तो ब्रह्म हत्या होने से उसे बहुत दुःख पहुंचा।यमराज के लिए यह फैसला लेना मुश्किल हो गया की पाप कर्म का फल किसके खाते में जाएगा? राजा जिसको पता ही नहीं था की खाना जहरीला हो गया है या वह चील...जो जहरीला सांप लिए राज के ऊपर से गुजरी...या वह मुर्दा सांप जो पहले से मर चूका था । दोस्तों बहुत दिनों तक यह फैसला यमराज के दरबार में अटका रहा।फिर कुछ समय बाद कुछ ब्राह्मण राजा से मिलने उसके राजमहल में आए और उन्होंने किसी महिला से महल का रास्ता पूछा महिला ने महल का रास्ता तो बता दिया ,पर रास्ता बताने के साथ 2 ब्राह्मणों से यह भी कह दिया भाई जरा ध्यान रखना वह राजा आप जैसे ब्राह्मणों को खाने में जहर देकर मार देता है।"बस मित्रों जैसे ही उस महिला ने यह शब्द कहे उसी समय यमराज ने यह फैसला ले लिया की उस ब्राह्मण की मृतयु का फल इस महिला को जाएगा इस महिला जो पाप का फल भुगतना होगा।यमराज के दूतों ने पूछा प्रभु ऐसा क्यों? जबकि उस ब्राह्मण की हत्या में महिला की कोई भूमिका नहीं थी।तब यमराज ने कहा कि देखो जब कोई व्यक्ति पाप करता है उसे आनन्द मिलता है।उस ब्रहामण की हत्या में न राजा को आनन्द मिला न मरे हुए सांप कोआनंद मिला न ही चील को आनन्द मिला पर उस पाप करम की घटना की बुराई करके उसका बखान करने से उस महिला को जरूर आनंद मिला इसलिए राजा के उस अनजाने पाप कर्म का फल इस महिला के खाते में जाएगा। इस घटना के तहत आजतक जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी दूसरे के पाप कर्म का बखान बुरे भाव से करता है उस व्यक्ति के पापों का हिस्सा बुराई करने वाले के खाते में डाल दिया जाता है।कई बार हम सोचते है कि जीवन में हमने कोई पाप नहीं किया फिर भी हमारे जीवन में कष्ट क्यों आया। कष्ट और कहीं से नहीं बल्कि लोगो की बुराई करने के कारण उसके पाप कर्मो से आया होता है।जिनको बुराई करते ही यमराज हमारे खाते में स्थानांतरित  देते हैं।

Sarpa Dosham

Meaning

It is often seen than despite having good Dasha the good results does not accrue to the native.Before analysing the "Sarpa Dosham" it is necessary to identify the badhak planet.The word "Badhak" means obstruction. In horoscope there are certain position from a house which are called badhak sthan & it's lords are called Badhakesh

How to Determine
From the Movable sign the 11th house from it is called badhak sthan
From the Fix sign the 9th house from it is called badhak sthan
From the Dual sign the 7the house from it is called badhak sthan



Sarpa Dosha
In Astrology the plante Rahu represent the " Snake" or "Sarpa"
Rahu along with Badhakesh plays the major role in creating dosha in horoscope .
Any connection of Rahu with the Lord of badhak sthan is dangerous.
Even placement of Rahu in 6/8/badhak sthan creates dosha.
Jupiter the divine planet if at all get associiated with Badhakesh having rahu/gulika in trines created the same dosha.Sun- Rahu or Moon- Rahu Conjunction is also responsible for the above dosha

The Self Defence

Once a saint visited village where all people were in trouble due to fear of a snake. The snake decided to have a glimpse of saint to get the blessings.When he met the saint for the first time , he was impressed by his divinity and decided to learn the lessons of life from the saint. The saint said that he is allowed to hunt for his food only and he should abandon killing of people.After that the behaviour of the snake was completely changed. Even the people of the village were relieved. But the life of snake became more difficult as he stopped biting people, Even people were aware of the change behaviour of snake. One day one farmer needed one rope for his work. Instead he decided to use snake for his work. This misuse badly hurt snake. He reached the saint. The saint was shocked to see the terrible condition of snake. He narrated the whole incidence of misuse of farmer and said that due to his promise he did not harm the farmer. The saint replied that he ordered him to stop biting people but not to stop hissing and for his self defense which was vital.It is very important in the world of spirituality too to protect oneself from the enemy. The words of the saint helped the snake to learn the exact meaning of the lesson.

Garuda Ganga

Enroute to Badrinath, there is a place where Garuda,the eagle(the vehicle of Lord Vishnu) prayed for many years to remove his sin. The river passes through this place is called Garuda Ganga. The placed is so sacred that  r the journey of  Badrinath commences only after worshipping of Garuda at this place. In other words its a gateway to Badrinath.Also every  rock  found in this river is considered sacred and used as worship. This is the only river that flows northward direction to merge with sacred river Alaknanda.As per legend once Lord Shiva visited Lord Vishnu. He saw that Garuda had caught his snake,Vasuki, who was wandering. To save his life the snake yelled for the help.Lord Vishnu intervened and commanded Garuda to let the snake go. But the Garuda answered with pride that if he would not allow him to eat the snake then Lord Vishnu would not be able to use him as his vehicle because he would be in the state of hunger. Lord Vishnu understood that Garuda is answering in his pride. He said that he could eat snake as a meal if  he able to bear the weight of his little finger on his back. This was the most easiest task for Garuda. When Lord Vishnu kept his little finger on the back of Garuda, he found it too heavy to move even for an inch.Garuda collapsed due to load. Garuda asked for the forgiveness for his sin. Lord Vishnu asked him to pray at the bank of river to get rid of his sin. So Garuda followed the command of his master. After the completion of prayer Lord Vishnu blessed him that every stone here at the bank of this river is blessed and the river would be known as " Garuda Ganga" .Also the this place would be the starting point of Badrinath region.

100 births old curse

In the epic Mahabharata,Bhism Pitamah was the prominent charater. He was a very desciplined warrior. In the war when he was about to die, he was lying on the bed of arrows. The whole life series was running in his mind at the time of death. He reminded that since many births he hadn't committed a single mistake then why he had suffering at the time of death. He requested Lord Krishna to answer his question. Then Lord Krishna with his divine powers took Bhishma Pitamah 100 births back. In a retrogression journey he found that he was a king 100 births back and committed one sin while he was going to forest for hunting. He found a snake lying in on his way. He tried to save his life and lifted with sword and threw in the bushes. But, the snake lost its life being struck in thorns. Before dying he cursed the king that he too would die like this.

Lord krishna , brought Bhishma Pitamah back to current time frame and further explained that in subsequent births due to his good deeds the curse of snake didnt prevailed but it kept following him since last 100 births and this was his last birth so as per law of karma at the time of death he was lying on the bed of arrows just like the snake lied on thorns 100 births back.

Naag Devta

After the death of King Parkishit, his son Janmejaya felt to took revenge against snakes because snake Takshak had bitten his father. He arrange a Yagya. Each Day the fire of Yagya consume one snake. As a result many snakes died .This hurt a lot to the king of snakes, Vasuki. He went to his sister Jaratkaru for the help . As per Brahama only her son, Aasteek had a power to stop this Yagya. Aasteek was too a great scholar and was too young. But he agreed for the help. After assuring Vasuki, Aasteek left for the venue of the Yagya. On listening to the sweet voice of Aasteek, Janmejaya gave him permission to attend the Yagya and called him inside the premises. Janmejaya was highly impressed by the knowledge of Aasteek. He thought that he should grant the boy a wish. At the same time Janmejaya then requested to all those who were present there to ensure that his Yagya was successful and that soon Takshak (the snake who had bitten his father, Parikshit), would fall into the fires of the Yagya and die. Since it was the turn of Takshak to die so he hide himself in Indralok. Hearing this Janmejaya requested the sages and priests to chant such a mantra that even Indra would be powerless before it and would fall into the fire with Takshak. On listening this, the priests did as they were told and soon Takshak along with Indra was pulled towards the fire. Now that Janmejaya was assured that his enemy would die, he turned to Aasteek and requested him to ask for anything that he wished for. Aasteek, seeing that Takshak would soon fall into the fire, took advantage of the situation and asked Janmejaya to stop the Snake Yagya so that the snakes who were left could survive. This shocked Janmejaya but he could not refuse what he had promised. Janmejaya had to relent and stooped the Yagya .Takshak was relieved Aasteek then left to go to Vasuki, his Uncle and Jaratkaru, his mother and narrated the whole incident to them. They blessed Aasteek and asked him to ask them for a boon. Aasteek wished that anyone who chanted the three mantras given by him at least once a day, should be spared death by a snake bite. He then chanted the three Mantras called Asit, Aartiman and Suneeth. The snakes granted Aasteek his wish and it is believed that if one chants one of these mantras even once a day, he will have nothing to fear from the snakes.
