तुलसीदास जी की इच्छा

काशी में एक जगह पर तुलसीदास रोज रामचरित मानस को गाते थे  । उनकी कथा को बहुत सारे भक्त सुनने आते थे। लेकिन एक बार गोस्वामी प्रातःकाल शौच करके आ रहे थे तो कोई एक प्रेत से इनका मिलन हुआ। उस प्रेत ने प्रसन्न होकर गोस्वामीजी को कहा कि मैं आपको कुछ देना चाहता हूँ। आपने जो शौच के बचे हुए जल से जो सींचन किया है मैं तृप्त हुआ हूँ। मैं आपको कुछ देना चाहता हूँ  ।

गोस्वामीजी बोले – भैया, हमारे मन तो केवल एक ही चाह है कि प्रभु श्री राम जी का दर्शन हमें हो जाए। राम की कथा तो हमने लिख दी है, गा दी है।पर दर्शन अभी तक साक्षात् नहीं हुआ है। उस प्रेत ने कहा कि महाराज! मैं यदि दर्शन करवा सकता तो मैं अब तक मुक्त न हो जाता? मैं खुद प्रेत योनि में पड़ा हुआ हूँ,  

तुलसीदास जी बोले – फिर भैया हमको कुछ नहीं चाहिए।

तो उस प्रेत ने कहा – सुनिए महाराज! मैं आपको दर्शन तो नहीं करवा सकता लेकिन दर्शन कैसे होंगे उसका रास्ता आपको बता सकता हूँ ।।

तुलसीदास जी बोले कि बताइये ।।

बोले आप जहाँ पर कथा कहते हो, बहुत सारे भक्त सुनने आते हैं, अब आपको तो मालूम नहीं लेकिन मैं जानता हूँ आपकी कथा में रोज हनुमानजी भी सुनने आते हैं। 

तुलसीदास  बोले कहाँ बैठते हैं ?  प्रेत ने  बताया कि सबसे पीछे कम्बल ओढ़कर, एक दीन हीन एक कोढ़ी के स्वरूप में व्यक्ति बैठता है और जहाँ   चप्पल लोग उतारते हैं वहां पर बैठते हैं। उनके पैर पकड़ लेना वो हनुमान जी ही हैं ।।गोस्वामीजी बड़े खुश हुए हैं। आज जब कथा हुई है गोस्वामीजी की नजर उसी व्यक्ति पर है कि वो कब आएंगे? और जैसे ही वो व्यक्ति आकर बैठे पीछे, तो गोस्वामीजी आज अपने आसन से कूद पड़े हैं और दौड़ पड़े। जाकर चरणों में गिर गए हैं ।।वो व्यक्ति बोला कि महाराज आप व्यासपीठ पर हो और मेरे चरण पकड़ रहे हो। मैं एक दीन हीन कोढ़ी व्यक्ति हूँ। मुझे तो न कोई प्रणाम करता है और न कोई स्पर्श करता है। आप व्यासपीठ छोड़कर मुझे प्रणाम कर रहे हो ?

गोस्वामीजी बोले कि महाराज आप सबसे छुप सकते हो मुझसे नहीं छुप सकते हो। अब आपके चरण मैं तब तक नहीं छोडूंगा जब तक आप राम से नहीं मिलवाओगे। जो ऐसा कहा तो हनुमानजी अपने दिव्य स्वरूप में प्रकट हो गए ।।आज तुलसीदास जी ने कहा कि कृपा करके मुझे राम से मिलवा दो। अब और कोई अभिलाषा नहीं बची। राम जी का साक्षात्कार हो जाए हनुमानजी, आप तो राम जी से मिलवा सकते हो। अगर आप नहीं मिलवाओगे तो कौन मिलवायेगा ? हनुमानजी बोले कि आपको रामजी जरूर मिलेंगे और मैं मिलवाऊँगा लेकिन उसके लिए आपको चित्रकूट चलना पड़ेगा, वहाँ आपको भगवन मिलेंगे ।।

गोस्वामीजी चित्रकूट गए हैं।  सामने से घोड़े पर सवार होकर दो सुकुमार राजकुमार आये। एक गौर वर्ण और एक श्याम वर्ण और गोस्वमीजी इधर से निकल रहे हैं ।।उन्होंने पूछा कि हमको रास्ता बता तो हम भटक रहे हैं ।।गोस्वामीजी ने रास्ता बताया कि बेटा इधर से निकल जाओ और वो निकल गए। अब गोस्वामीजी पागलों की तरह खोजते हुए घूम रहे हैं कब मिलेंगे? कब मिलेंगे ?

हनुमानजी प्रकट हुए और बोले कि मिले?

गोस्वामीजी बोले – कहाँ मिले ?

हनुमानजी ने सिर पकड़ लिया और बोले अरे अभी मिले तो थे। जो घोड़े पर सवार राजकुमार थे वो ही तो थे। आपसे ही तो रास्ता पूछा और कहते हो मिले नहीं। चूक गए और ये गलती हम सब करते हैं। न जाने कितनी बार भगवान हमारे सामने आये होंगे और हम पहचान नहीं पाए। कितनी बार वो सामने खड़े हो जाते हैं हम पहचान नहीं पाते। न जाने वो किस रूप में आ जाये ।।

गोस्वामीजी कहते हैं हनुमानजी आज बहुत बड़ी गलती हो गई। फिर कृपा करवाओ। फिर मिलवाओ ।।

हनुमानजी बोले कि थोड़ा धैर्य रखो। एक बार और फिर मिलेंगे। गोस्वामीजी बैठे हैं। मन्दाकिनी के तट पर स्नान करके बैठे हैं। स्नान करके घाट पर चन्दन घिस रहे हैं। मगन हैं और गा रहे हैं। श्री राम जय राम जय जय राम। ह्रदय में एक ही लग्न है कि भगवान कब आएंगे। श्री राम ,  ठाकुर जी  स्वरूप में आये पर तुसलीदास जी  पहचान न पाए और कहा   " बाबा… चन्दन तो आपने बहुत प्यारा घिसा है। थोड़ा सा चन्दन हमें लगा दो ।।"

गोस्वामीजी को लगा कि कोई बालक होगा। चन्दन घिसते देखा तो आ गया। तो तुरंत लेकर चन्दन ठाकुर जी को दिया और ठाकुर जी लगाने लगे, हनुमानजी महाराज समझ गए कि आज बाबा फिर चूके जा रहे हैं। आज ठाकुर जी फिर से इनके हाथ से निकल रहे हैं ।। हनुमानजी तोता बनकर आ गए शुक रूप में और घोषणा कर दी कि..

चित्रकूट के घाट पर, भई संतन की भीर ।

तुलसीदास चंदन घिसे, तिलक देत रघुवीर ।।

हनुमानजी ने घोसणा कर दी कि अब मत चूक जाना।। 

आज जो आपसे चन्दन ग्रहण कर रहे हैं ये साक्षात् रघुनाथ हैं और जो ये वाणी गोस्वामीजी के कान में पड़ी तो गोस्वामीजी चरणों में गिर गए ठाकुर जी तो चन्दन लगा रहे थे। बोले प्रभु अब आपको नहीं छोडूंगा। जैसे ही पहचाना तो प्रभु अपने दिव्य स्वरूप में प्रकट हो गए हैं  ठाकुर जी अंतर्ध्यान हो गए और वो झलक आखों में बस गई ह्रदय तक उतरकर। फिर कोई अभिलाषा जीवन में नहीं रही है  

राम से बड़ा राम का नाम

 रामदरबार में हनुमानजी महाराज रामजी की सेवा में इतने तन्मय हो गये कि गुरू वशिष्ठ के आने का उनको ध्यान ही नहीं रहा। सबने उठ कर उनका अभिवादन किया पर, हनुमानजी नहिं कर पाये। वशिष्ठ जी ने रामजी से कहा कि राम गुरु का भरे दरबार में अभिवादन नहीं कर अपमान करने पर क्या सजा होनी चाहिए । राम ने कहा गुरुवर आप ही बतायें । वशिष्ठजी ने कहा मृत्यु दण्ड ।राम ने कहा स्वीकार हॆं। तब राम जी ने कहा कि गुरुदेव आप बतायें कि यह अपराध किसने किया हॆं?  बता दूंगा पर राम वो तुम्हारा इतना प्रिय हॆं कि, तुम अपने आप को सजा दे दोगे पर उसको नहीं दे पाओगे  राम ने कहा, गुरुदेव,  राम के लिये सब समान हॆं। मॆने सीता जेसी पत्नी का सहर्ष त्याग धर्म के लिये कर दिया तो, भी आप संशय कर रहे हॆं?

नहीं, राम! मुझे तुम्हारे पर संशय नहीं हॆं पर, मुझे दण्ड के परिपूर्ण होने पर संशय हॆं।

अत:यदि तुम यह विश्वास दिलाते हो कि, तुम स्वयं उसे मृत्यु दण्ड अपने अमोघ बाण से दोगे तो ही में अपराधी का नाम और अपराध बताऊँगा । राम ने पुन: अपना ससंकल्प व्यक्त कर दिया। तब वशिष्ठ जी ने बताया कि, यह अपराध हनुमान जी ने किया हॆं। हनुमानजी ने स्वीकार कर लिया। तब दरबार में रामजी ने घोषणा की कि, कल सांयकाल सरयु के तट पर, हनुमानजी को मैँ स्वयं अपने अमोघ बाण से मृत्यु दण्ड दूंगा।

हनुमानजी के घर जाने पर उदासी की अवस्था में माता अंजनी ने देखा तो चकित रह गयी. कि मेरा लाल महावीर, अतुलित बल का स्वामी, ज्ञान का भण्डार, आज इस अवस्था में?  माता ने बार बार पुछा,  

तब हनुमानजी ने बताया कि, यह प्रकरण हुआ हॆं अनजाने में। माता! आप जानती हें कि,  हनुमान को संपूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड में कोई नहीं मार सकता,  पर भगवान राम के अमोघ बाण से भी कोई नहीं बच सकता l   

तब माता ने कहा कि, हनुमान, मैंने भगवान शंकर से, "राम" मंत्र (नाम) प्राप्त किया था ,और तुम्हे भी जन्म के साथ ही यह नाम घुटी में पिलाया।  जिसके प्रताप से तुमने बचपन में ही सूर्य को फल समझ मुख में ले लिया, उस राम नाम के होते हुये हनुमान कोई भी तुम्हारा बाल भी बांका नहीं कर सकता । चाहे वो राम स्वयं भी हो l राम नाम की शक्ति के सामने राम की शक्ति और राम के अमोघ शक्तिबाण की शक्तियां महत्वहीन हो जायेगी। जाओ मेरे लाल,  अभी से सरयु के तट पर जाकर राम नाम का उच्चारण करना आरंभ करदो। माता के चरण छूकर हनुमानजी, सरयु किनारे राम राम राम राम रटने लगे।

सांयकाल, राम अपने सम्पूर्ण दरबार सहित सरयुतट आये। सको कोतुहल था कि, क्या राम हनुमान को सजा देगें?

पर जब राम ने बार बार रामबाण ,अपने महान शक्तिधारी ,अमोघशक्ति बाण चलाये पर हनुमानजी के उपर उनका कोई असर नहीं हुआ तो, गुरु वशिष्ठ जी ने शंका बतायी कि, राम तुम अपनी पुर्ण निष्ठा से बाणो का प्रयोग कर रहे हो?  तो राम ने कहा हां गुरूदेव मैँ गुरु के प्रति अपराध की सजा देने को अपने बाण चला रहा हूं, उसमें किसी भी प्रकार की चतुराई करके मैँ कॆसे वही अपराध कर सकता हूं?

 तो तुम्हारे बाण अपना कार्य क्यों नहीं कर रहे हॆ?

तब राम ने कहा, गुरु देव हनुमान राम राम राम की अंखण्ड रट लगाये हुये हॆं।  मेरी शक्तिंयो का अस्तित्व राम नाम के प्रताप के समक्ष महत्वहीन हो रहा है।  इसमें मेरा कोई भी प्रयास सफल नहीं हो रहा है। आप ही बतायें , गुरु देव ! मैँ क्या करुं।

गुरु देव ने कहा,  हे राम ! आज से मैँ तुम्हारा साथ तुम्हारा दरबार, त्याग कर अपने आश्रम जाकर राम नाम जप हेतु जा रहा हूं। जाते -जाते, गुरुदेव वशिष्ठ जी ने घोषणा की कि हे राम ! मैं जानकर ,मानकर. यह घौषणा कर रहा हूं कि स्वयं राम से राम का नाम बडा़ हॆं, महा अमोघशक्ति का सागर है। जो कोई जपेगा, लिखेगा, मनन.करेगा, उसकी लोक कामनापूर्ति होते हुये  भी,वो मोक्ष का भागी होगा।  

तभी से राम से बडा राम का नाम माना जाता है ।

 

Hanuman and Betel leaves

When the war between Lord Rama and King Ravana was over, then it was time for them to return to Ayodhya along with Goddess Sita. But at the time of departure Hanuman was missing who played a key role in the victory of Lord Rama. Everyone searched for Hanuman. Eventually, Sita found Hanuma in a betel leaves garden .  When Hanuman saw Sita , he bowed his head down to seek the blessings.Sita was overwhelmed with his devotion. She plucked few betel leaves and showered on hanuman in order to bless him. Since then  this tradition of offering garland of betel leaves is follows

Arjun and Hanuman

Once Arjun was on pilgrimage and reached Rameshwaram. When he saw the setu(bridge), he wondered that why Lord Rama needed the help of  vanar sena(troops of monkeys) though he himself was a great archer. This was the time when Arjun’s thought was governed by his ego and boast of him to be great archer. He found that one monkey was following him. The monkey tried to answer his doubt and said that it was not practical to built the bridge of arrows by Lord Rama  because it would not able to bear the weight of huge monkey army. On hearing this Arjun laughed and challenged monkey that the bridge made by him could have bear the weight easily and if it failed to do so then he would jumped into the fire. The monkey agreed the challenge and asked Arjun to build a bridge from his arrows.Arjun with his great skills built a very strong bridge. But the moment the monkey stepped on to the bridge , it collapsed.Arjuna accepted the defeat and made a fire ready jumped into.at the very moment one Brahman who was none other than Lord Krishna visited and enquired the matter. The Brahman offered his shoulder at the foundation of bridge and asked Arjun to repeat the task. Again the bridge was built by Arjun with his arrows and when monkey set his foot , the bridge did not collapsed. Arjun was stunned. The monkey appeared in his original form of Hanuman and greet the Brahman who was Lord Krishna(an incarnation of Lord Rama).

Lord Krishna said “ Dear Hanuman!! In previous yuga you have done so much for me and carried me on your shoulder.In this yuga I came to carry you on my shoulder. Also I wanted to teach Arjun a lesson who was living with a false ego”

Arjuna went into tears and asked for forgiveness as the Lord has to came to rescue him. Lord Krishna also honoured his disciple claim of building the bridge second time.God never let HIS children down.

Govardhan Parvat and Lord Rama

The Govardhan Parvat(hill) is one of the most sacred manifestation of Lord Krishna worshipped by his followers. This sacred hill has a close linkage with Lord Rama also due to involvement of boon given by him to this hill. It is believe that when Lord Rama ordered to built bridge across ocean to Lanka, Hanuman too went to Himalaya mountain ranges to fetch some rocks necessary for building bridge. Hanuman was flying back to Rama after taking one hill,called Govardhan then he came to know that he was too late as the bridge was already built during that time and no more rocks or mountains were needed. This was very disappointing for the Govardhan Hill as he was too eager to have glimpse and divine touch of holy feet of lord Rama. When Lord Rama came to know about this incident, he blessed Govardhan hill that, in Dwapar Yug, he himself would hold Govardhan in his hand and people will worship him.The blessings given by Lord Rama proved true in Dwapar Yug  when he himself incrnated as Lord Krishna and held Govardhan on his little finger for 7 days and nights.

The super eight

In Kailyuga,(the 4^th stage of time concept as per Hinduism), the maximum life span of a human is believe to be 120 years. But there are some souls who because of boon or curse roam on the earth having abnormal life span. The term used for the long life is “Chiranjeev” means a person who lives eternal life. The 8 persons who attain this title are

1) Sage Markandeya

2) King Bali

3) Vibhishan

4) Parshuram

5) Hanuman

6) Sage Vyas

7) Kripacharya

8) Ashwathama

Still it is believe that the above 8 are present on earth whose current age varies from thousands to millions of years! So while exploring India , if you come across the region dedicated to any one of above all, make sure they are there itself to listen your prayers!!!

Lord Hanuman & Shani Devta

Saturn descended on Hanuman when he was busy building a bridge over the ocean to help Rama and his army cross over to Lanka. Hanuman requested the planet to postpone his visit till he had successfully assisted Rama in regaining Sita. But Saturn was adamant and Hanuman had to bow against the will of nature. He suggested that Saturn sit on his (Hanuman's) head as his hands were engaged in serving Rama and his legs were too lowly for Saturn.

Saturn happily settled on Hanuman's head and the mighty Hanuman continued with his work, piling heavy boulders and stones on his head in an apparently casual manner and carrying them to the construction site. After a while Saturn found it impossible to bear the load of the heaped boulders any longer and wished to climb down. Hanuman insisted that he complete his mandatory seven-and-a-half years but Saturn pleaded for release saying that the seven-and-a-half minutes he stayed on Hanuman's head felt like seven-and-a-half years anyway. Thus speaking Saturn took leave of Hanuman and since then worshippers of Hanuman rest assured that the unavoidable ill effects of Saturn's sade-sati (seven-and-a-half year's stay) can be whittled down by a true devotion to Hanuman.
