Age of Lord Brahma

According to Hindu Philosophy the existence of earth is divided into 4 yugas
1.Satya Yuga(1728000 years)
2.Treta Yuga(1296000 years)
3.Dwapar Yuga(864000 years)
4.Kali Yuga (432000 years)
One Mahayuga=Total of( Satya Yuga+treta Yuga+Dwapar Yuga+Kali yuga)=4320000 years
71 Mahayuga=1 Manavantar
14 Manavantar=1 day of Lord Brahama=4320000000 years(or 1000 mahayugas)
It's intresting that after each manvantar there is a period called "Sandhi kaal" of 1728000 years in which the earth is submerged in water.
Similarly 1 Night of Lord Brhama=4320000000 years
Total of Day+Night=8640000000 years
360 such days makes 1 year of Lord Brahma. Therefore Lord Brahma's 1 year=3110400000000 years
The Total Life span of Lord Brahma is 100 years.
Therefore 1 second of Lord Brahma=100000 years.

Mythological facts
The Birth of Lord Rama happen in Treta yuga of 5th maha yuga.
Birth of Lord Krishna happen in current 28th Mahayuga in dwapar yuga.

Conclusion
Current Kaliyuga begins at 3102 BC
Till 2000 AD 6 Brahamas has already passed.
The Current Brahma is 7th who has already passes 50 years of age.
This is 51st year, first day in which 5 hrs 28 minutes and 48 second has already passed
As already stated before that in each day there are 14 manvantar of 71 mahayuga each.
Now 7th Manvantar is running.
In this manvantar of 71 mahyuga 27 mahayuga has already passed.
The current is 28th mahayuga.
In current mahayuga we are in kaliyuga in which 5102 years has already passed.
I we total them we get that age of Lord Brahama as 1,972,949,102 human years .
Wow!!!!!!Is'nt it Amazing !!!!!!
Hope your calculator will support above calculations.

Hi Friend!! first i would like to clear that this article is to show the measurement of time which our Sages use. This is not an attempt to calculate the age of any Divine Power .But it is written to clear the doubts in the minds of reader of Puraans.Because in each puraan there is a mention of creation and destruction of earth. So next time u go through the puraan then this post will surely help you to understand the concept of Manuvantar in a better way.Well i would like to update that there is a name of each ruling manuvantar. The current running manuvantar is "Vaishwat". If you believe in astrology then refer to initial chapter of "Muhurat" by K.K. Joshi. As far as above info is concern you can refer any puraan. So my dear friend this is an attempt to simplyfy which has been written in puraan for a common man not any self made attempt to calculate the age of Divine Power. So, after reading this articel your desire to know about hinduism will generate more. Please refer Page 6 of Vishnu Puraan published by "Gita Press"

Dear friend,

U really did try ur best to prove ur post. I admire the fact that you are really serious in what u write unlike a few people who write just to show off.

Anyhow coming back to the point where we started. If you give me the explanation that it is written in puraans about the measurement of time used by the sages, I will accept it straight away. The chapter is closed right here and right now. I am a believer of Hindu Mythology and my synonym for mythology is belief or faith, so I have full faith in Hinduism. I am a human being. Irrespective of the fact whether I am Special or Simple, I do not have any right to challenge the sacred. But if you, my dear friend, would appriciate a healthy discussion on this topic, then I would surely like to express my viewpoint. And that is......
Before I express myself, I would like to tell you that I do not have complete knowledge of puraans or the mythological stories. So, if I am wrong somewhere then please do excuse me for that.
As far as my knowledge goes my dear friend, Lord Brahma is the personification of Brahman, the param-atman, the Supreme Cosmic Spirit or Absolute Reality in Hindu Vedanta philosophy. Brahman gives rise to the primordial being Hiranyagarbha that is equated with the creator Lord Brahmā.
Now, I agree Lord Brahma is a creator and according to Brahma Purana and Hindu cosmology, Brahmā is the creator but not necessarily regarded as God in Hinduism. He is mostly regarded as a creation of God / Brahman. I also agree that it has been clearly specified that Lord Brahma has a lifespan.........but but but how can a creator of brahmaanda have a lifespan. That means that Lord Brahma will die or be destroyed. They say, the lifespan of Brahmā is 100 Brahmā years or 311 trillion human years. At the end of his lifespan, there is a gap of 100 Brahmā years after which another Brahmā or creator begins anew and the process is repeated forever. On one hand they say that he is not god, he is the creation of god and a creator of brahmaanda and on the other hand they explain that this creator will die and a new creator will come up. Are we tatally ruling out that Brahma is god, if not then can god die? If yes then what is the difference between me and god? Just that god can live for many more years than me, probably can do many more meaningfull things than me. If after my death and all the rebirths, I will go and be a part of him, then whose part will he be when his lifespan is over?
I seriously get confused with this creation and creator concept of god. There is a saying that brahma was self-born (mother less) and there is another saying that he was the son of the supreme being, brahman and the female energy, prakrti/maya.
Dont you think it is all so messed up. There needs to be some sought of clearification on all this. Moreover I feel the remains of the puraans and the vedas that we have as of today are more or less distorted over the period of time. Could it have been the age of brahmaanda that was created by the remains of the golden egg and not brahma, the creator god or hiranyagarbha. Could there be a twist in this tale??? Could your post had been Age of Brahamaanda rather than Age of Lord Brahma??? Think about it... now its all between you and me, nobody else will understand me... probably I too might not be able to get what I have written.... But still can my doubts be true??????? These doubts can dent my faith..... What say¿

Thanks for the information. This is very much true as per the laws of gravitation.

If our body doesn't experience any gravitational forces, the body cells never become tired and worn out. Whatever new cells produced in our bod will remain as it is forever. So there will be no word called aging.
Since our gods live in the universe, they experience, very less or no gravitational forces. Moreover, if you travel at a speed of light in the universe, there will be zero gravitational forces act on you.
